A fictional exploration of the Nickel Mines schoolhouse shooting in an Amish community and the path of forgiveness and compassion forged in its wake.
A deeply compelling and emotional play, "The Amish Project" explores the power of forgiveness and compassion in the aftermath of tragedy.
Originally a one woman show, "The Amish Project" has now been adapted for an ensemble. In keeping with the original one woman show, this ensemble production has been cast entirely female.
Praised by the New York Times as "Extraordinary...Compelling..." and winner of the CAPPIE Award for Best Play.
