Love and Information

Written by Caryl Churchill. Directed by Montserrat Gili.

How do we digest information in an already oversaturated online world? What information do we decide to give away? How can that affect our relationships?

Caryl Churchill’s 'Love and Information' is a kaleidoscopic play of short scenes addressing issues about knowledge and communication and our capacity for love.

Few plays offer such limitless possibilities...scenes with no descriptions, characters with no names, lines with no punctuation…

We have re-shaped it into the new online reality we are living today, plagued with connections and disconnections, with emotional reunions as well as internet failures.

This is a live performance online, with all the pitfalls and discoveries that come with it.

The excitement of theatre is that it is live and anything can happen…and although we are lucky to have the technology…it’s still unreliable enough to bring an extra element of excitement to a live performance!

This performance will be live streamed via YouTube on Thursday 21st May at 7pm (UK).

*Performance contains some strong language and images containing nudity
