Success at the Edinburgh Film Festival

In September, Ross Finbow, a BA Acting graduate from 2003, was seen in his first major screen role, in the lead in Gamerz, a feature-length Scottish independent film which premiered at the Edinburgh Film Festival with great success. The film is now being screened across Scotland.

Julie Austin, who has seen Gamerz, which is in the running for a Bafta Scotland award, said: 'It's so refreshing to see a Scottish film that is not like every other', while The Sunday Times Scotland said: 'Nobody is getting smacked off their face on drugs. It's got a light, gentle sense of warmth about it.'

Gamerz was superbly received with some fantastic reviews.
