How to Get to the Southend Campus
The Southend Campus is home to some students studying at East 15 Acting School and is a new, state-of-the-art building on the High Street and adjacent to Southend Central train station.
Train and tube
The Southend Campus is adjacent to Southend Central train station, where regular trains take just one hour to run to London Liverpool Street and Fenchurch Street.
Coach
National Express offers frequent coach services from all over the UK to Victoria bus station in central London. It would then be possible to get the tube to either London Liverpool Street or Fenchurch Street and catch a train to Southend Central train station, which is adjacent to the Southend Campus.
Alternatively, National Express also offer a coach service to Southend bus station, which is in the town centre so close to the Southend Campus.
Car
To reach the Southend Campus by car, follow signs from the A13 or A127 for the Town Centre. There is a pay and display car park opposite the Southend Campus in Elmer Avenue and there is a car park underneath the South East Essex College building (adjacent to the Southend Campus) which operates on a pay on exit basis.
Air and sea
The location of the Southend Campus, next to Southend Central train station, means that it is easy to catch the tube from Heathrow or Gatwick airport into London and then a train from London Liverpool Street or Fenchurch Street to Southend.
Luton airport is also accessible, with regular rail and bus services from the airport into central London, meaning you can then catch a tube to London Liverpool Street or Fenchurch Street, then a train to Southend.
Stansted airport also has regular rail and bus services from the airport into central London, including the Stansted Express rail service to London Liverpool Street and National Express run a coach service from Stansted to Southend bus station.
Harwich International Port offers regular rail and bus services to central London, meaning tube and train travel (as above) to Southend is possible.
Local bus and taxi
The Southend Campus location in the town centre on the High Street means there are frequent buses and a number of different taxi companies available.
